How It Works

  1. Coach/Ambassador
If you decide to try Sensible Meals, it is a great idea to have a coach/ambassador. This will be your go-to person for questions that you may have or for solutions to any problems that may come up while you are on the meals. I will be your coach/ambassador, but only if you place your order directly with me via text, email, or using the order link on this website . This is the only way I am able to help you with things like skips, cancels or solutions when you are unable to pickup your meals or if you forget to skip or cancel by the deadline. This is true for new clients as well as returning clients, even if you were not my client previously. I promise personal service in a timely manner and I am accessible by phone when needed as well!
  2. Meal Pickup Locations
Current pickup locations, which are offered at no charge, include: Sundays from 11:00-1:00 in Mandeville, Metairie, Slidell , Gonzales, and Lafayette, from 11:00-12:00 in Gulfport, MS, from 1:00-3:00 in Houma, from 2:00-3:00 in Westwego and Bogalusa, from 3:00-5:00 in Baton Rouge, and on Mondays from 9:00-12:00 and 5:00-7:00 in Mandeville. **Anyone can pickup your meals for you. All they need is your name and meal plan **You will be sent a flyer when you sign up with specific pickup location addresses and any time changes will be included on the flyer and posted on Facebook so please check for changes in these above posted times
  3. Meal Delivery $15-$40
We now offer cold shipping to your doorstep within the contiguous United States. Depending on your shipping zone, cost is very reasonably priced at $15, $17, or $40 for the entire weeks worth of meals. Please see delivery zone map on the How to Order page or on Facebook. Meals are shipped on Wednesday evenings and arrive in Zone 1 on map on Thursdays and on Zones 2 and 3 on the map on Fridays. Meals are on ice and are fine if left by the door until you return home in the evening. Freeze immediately when you unpack your meals from their shipping pack.
  4. Payments
All clients are auto drafted every Friday, by credit/debit card, unfortunately no other forms of payment are accepted. • Even if you do not see a charge still pick up your food. All banks post and process charges differently and some charges may not show up until the following week. *ALWAYS pick up your food - we do not take clients off the list! *If payment wasn’t approved, we will settle up Monday ***Your success is our first priority!
  5. Order Renewals
Once you have placed your initial order you are subscribed and do not need to reorder each week, after the initial 4-week commitment you automatically become a weekly client until you skip or cancel your meals. **Meals cancelled prior to the 4-week commitment will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee **After you complete your initial 4-week commitment you may come and go as you please with zero additional commitment.
  6. Meal Instructions
In order for meals to be at optimal quality you must freeze the meals immediately after pickup or upon delivery and take the meals straight from freezer to microwave when ready to eat. To heat simply lift the lid on the container, but keep it on in the microwave to help steam the food and lock in the flavor. **Meals are all fully cooked and heating is to taste, but on average breakfast items 60-90 seconds and entrees 2-3 minutes **Containers are BPA free and microwave safe!
  7. Allergies
*Nuts: We don’t add nuts to our standard meals, but we are not a nut free facility.  Peanut butter is used on occasion, but is in a vacuum sealed container and does not touch other food ** Paleo meals do include nuts in a small sealed container * Seafood: We do not use any seafood, ever * Beans: These are used quite often in our standard meals, but our Paleo option eliminates beans *Cheese: We do use cheese quite often in our standard meals, but our Paleo option eliminates all dairy products *Gluten: We are NOT a gluten free facility, but our Paleo option eliminates all gluten from meals *Latex: Our prep crew does wear latex gloves to prepare the food.
  8. Snacking and Drinks
We recommend no snacking during the weight loss phase, but if you must snack, think as low calorie as possible, not necessarily as healthy as possible.  *Almonds are healthy, but very high in calories. *Pickles are not super nutritious, but are low in calories *Stay under 75 calories a day in snacks. Consider things like hardboiled eggs, a pickle spear, sugar free pudding, Sara Lee 45 calorie bread, green veggies, broth based soups *Any beverages under 35 calories are fine
